Overview

Working in partnership with the in-house design teams at Claridge’s and The Connaught, alongside independent makers and specialist craftspeople, Samuel developed bespoke approaches to objects and interiors within two of London’s most distinguished luxury hotels. Rooted in the principles of couture, this work brings together artistic vision, material experimentation and exceptional craftsmanship to create objects conceived specifically for their setting. Each project considers the relationship between sustainability, heritage, material innovation and storytelling, translating the identity of a brand into distinctive luxury pieces. His approach is collaborative and connects the expertise of designers, makers and production specialists to realise global projects. This longstanding practice informs his wider interest in bespoke commissions for brands, where art, design and craftsmanship converge.
