Inspired by the relationships between land, ocean and human experience, Oceanic Sculpture Gardens explores sculpture as a lived and shared experience. Each garden is conceived as an integrated landscape in which sculptural forms, planting, pathways, water and open space create opportunities for contemplation, meditation and connection with the natural world. Developed for private clients and landscapes around the world, these site-specific environments bring together art, landscape design and spatial experience - recent projects include the islands of the Mediterranean. Rather than treating sculpture as an isolated object, each project considers how art can shape the way we inhabit a place, move through it and experience ourselves in relation to others and the environment. With an ambition to realise a garden in Fiji, where the oceanic cultures and landscapes that inform his practice have their roots. Bespoke commissions for private estates, island properties and exceptional landscapes internationally are coordinated through art agents in Europe, Asia and US.
