Art, Making & Collaborative Enquiry

Overview

View Website

Working across schools, colleges and universities, Samuel has significant experience developing creative experiences that bring students from diverse disciplines together through artistic practice, material exploration and collaborative enquiry. At King’s College, Cambridge, he delivered a series of workshops through the Paintings and Drawing Society, using the college’s art studios as a setting for interdisciplinary exchange. Through drawing, observation and making, students were invited to approach ideas from different perspectives, developing new connections between artistic practice, their academic interests and the wider cultural environment. His approach places creativity and experimentation at the centre of interdisciplinary learning, creating opportunities for students to work beyond the boundaries of their individual degree programs. It reflects a broader commitment to making, play and collaborative enquiry as essential dimensions of intellectual development, cultural participation and human flourishing.
