Architectural Concepts & Pavilions
Overview
A conceptual pavilion proposal developed in collaboration with Petersham Nurseries, exploring the relationship between architecture, landscape, materiality and the experience of hospitality. The project investigated how an architectural system could respond to the character of its setting while accommodating the structural, engineering and practical demands of a complex spatial intervention. Combining conceptual design with technical exploration, the proposal considered how architectural form, material assemblies and construction systems might work together to create a distinctive environment for gathering, dining and engaging with the landscape. While the individual project has not been realised, the engineered assemblage system is under development for art fairs.
